Highlight Stories

At 91 years young, Mom is now the oldest person

in our family. I am making this website to share

some of the family stories so those who come

after us, who may want to know their family

history, will have a place to come learn about their

folks. 

It wasn’t until recently that I learned not everyone in

the family have heard “the stories”.  In fact, some in

our family seemed to know so very little about our

past that it amazed me.  I began to realize just how

blessed I have been to hear those stories so many,

many times. 

The history of our family is very rich and complex. 

I grew up hearing my mother, Doris Chester her

mother Rosie May tell those stories over and over

again.
